Photography gives patients a real look at what is in their mouth

Photography gives us the ability to show patients the conditions that exist in their mouth. It also gives us the ability to morph those images to give them a vision or a window potentially of where their smile is headed.

Use the photos to show what their smile could be

I know as dentists we get very excited by our mounted models and the engineering of the system, and trying to provide our patients with predictable results. But I think sometimes we need to get out of our left brains and into our right brains as we are trying to communicate this information to our patients who are not dentists and to try to give them a vision of where things are going.

By using some digital morphing or some digital imaging as a way to show them what that future may be it can give them the best opportunity to connect or own that final result before you actually move forward with treatment. I hope you find this tip effective.
