Dental Webinar | Airway & TMD - What's the Connection?

This webinar highlights the connection and studies between UARS and TMD that relate to breathing disordered sleep. Dr. Witt Wilkerson shares valuable insights gained from several years of intense study of these overlapping subjects.

During this webinar, you will recognize the connections between Airway and TMD by studying the subjects side by side. TMD is a basket syndrome with common symptoms such as sore muscles/joints, bruxism, headaches, and chronic fatigue. Interestingly, those are exactly the same symptoms experienced by many patients with the medical diagnosis of Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome (UARS), a problem related to breathing disordered sleep.

  • Describe the relationship of disordered breathing and TMD
  • Identify the common symptoms associated the TMD

Webinar | Simplifying Removable Partial Denture Design (RPD)

During this webinar, we look at placing implants in single sites to more challenging cases involving multiple implant restorations and grafting to help build a better foundation for long-term success.

Since many of our patients cannot afford, or are unable to go through, the surgeries for implants, it is important to design a well-fitting removable partial denture that actually strengthens the teeth as the teeth support the partial. Using the Dawson concepts and principles of Complete Dentistry, there are three key components that must be understood.

Learning Objectives:

  • Know the 3 key components of removable partial denture (RPD) design
  • Be able to design various RDP’s
  • Sequence the steps to completing a RPD

Dental Webinar: The Role of Repositioning in Complete Dentistry

Learn lessons you can immediately implement for complete dentistry repositioning and increased practice revenue.

Orthodontics is one of four treatment options available in complete dentistry. Why then are so many patients needing this being referred out? Are there workflows that enable general dentists to take on orthodontic cases with confidence?  Can we find more cases that would benefit from these tools, and can we work more constructively with our orthodontist colleagues? Fortunately, we can, and this program will explore how Invisalign has solved all these repositioning questions positively.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe how Invisalign’s ClinCheck® Pro Tool is essential in treatment planning for General Practice Dentists at all levels of orthodontic experience.
