He is the author of the all-time best selling dental textbook, Evaluation, Diagnosis and Treatment of Occlusal Problems, as well as, Functional Occlusion: From TMJ to Smile Design released in 2006, and The Complete Dentist Manual released in 2017. He is the founder of the “Concept of Complete Dentistry® Series” as well as The Dawson Academy. In 2016 Dr. Dawson was presented with the ADA Distinguished Service Award. In addition to numerous other awards and recognitions, Dr. Dawson is the past president of the American Equilibration Society, the Academy of Restorative Dentistry, and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.
